We ferment this Pale Ale with a massive amount of Raspberries. With 30% Wheat in the malt bill, it has a slight sourness we think works nicely with the Raspberry aroma.

330ml Bottle - Amber and pinkish in colour. Raspberries, jam and wheat in the aroma. Fruity, earthy and moderately sweet taste with raspberries noticeable yet nicely balanced, plus notes of peach and floral hops. Refreshing.

Bottled. Hazy blood-orange, quickly dissipating white foam. Semi tart aroma of berries, yoghurt, lemon, lime, orange. Taste is sour with wheat, strawberries, raspberries, minor hoppy touch, minor malty bubble gum, semi dry in the finish. Light to medium body, medium carbo. OK but a bit sterile.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a hazy golden with a white head. Very intense raspberries - this all pure berries? Light body, quite some sulphur but dominated by the raspberries. Some late bitternes. Not a fan, but at least not cloyingly sweet. 180315

Bottle @ Ölstugan Tullen. Pours hazy pinkish golden with a big frothy pinkish off-white head that slowly dissipates while leaving some thick soapy lacing on the glass. Smell is fruity with white bread, pureed raspberries, raspberry hard candy, grapefruit juice, pine needles, moist soil, freshly cut grass and lemon zest. Taste is tiny sweet, bitter and fruity with white bread, freshly cut grass, freshly picked wild raspberries, grapefruit juice, raspberry hard candy, lemon zest, pine needles, wood, moist soil and grapefruit rinds. Mouthfeel is round, tiny fruity tart, tiny cloying sweet and light to medium bodied. Finish is bitter and fruity with white bread, pureed raspberries, grapefruit rinds, grass, pine, raspberry hard candy and lemon zest. Every other sip is a fantastic fresh raspberry fruit beer and every other sip is a cloying sweet artificial raspberry mess. Leaves you with multiple personality disorder which I guess is fine...
