Cask at The Wellington, Birmingham. Mahogany pour with small beige top. This one had a very nice complex malt character with notes of treacle, liquorice, dark malts, chocolate, some pepperiness. Smooth medium body with soft to fine carbonation. Good stuff.

Pours a lovely dark brown with a frothy tan head and a sweet malty nose. Caramel sweetness, hedgerow fruits and a dry finish

Two cask pints, hand-pulled in Ye Olde Fighting Cocks, Oakengates on 22nd May 2021. Clear mahogany body, lasting beige head that offered up some good lacing. Traditional strong Mild (most likely trying to be similar to Sarah Hughes's Dark Ruby Mild), treacle like sweetness mid-sip, good malty nose and flavour. Liked it!
