It’s taken years, but we’ve tweaked this legendary Imperial IPA to perfection. Flavors of pine and citrus rind rush to greet the palate and are balanced by a biscuit-like malt backbone. A bevy of Bravo, Cascade, Centennial, Chinook, and Citra hops combine to make Odyssey a hop lover’s dream!

From a 650ml bottle on 4/3/2015. Pours a acloudy orange golden with a medium white head. The nose features lots of caramel and honey. Take a sip and it’s quite malt forward - more caramel and toffee, with lots of sweet fruit and honey evident, along with a hint of booze. The hops reveal themselves at the back, with a firm, lingering bitterness providing the balance. Full bodied with soft carbonation. This is a bit of a curious double - not overly hoppy and quite malty, and very much on the sweet side for the style. It almost has a bit of barley wine character to it. Very enjoyable but not quite top flight.

Draught. Rich amber color with foamy off-white head, floral hops aroma, low carbonation, very balanced hoppy taste, abrupt finish. Very good IPA

Poured from a bottle it is a clear golden color with a slight head. The aroma is citrus and the taste is white grapefruit that lingers bitter on the palate

Botella de 65 cl de el lúpulo tomada en julio de 2013. Ipa con sabores frescos, florales y algo herbáceos bastante fácil de beber y con un cuerpo medio de 8.5 vol. No esta mal, para repetir.

12 ounce can from Beer Run. Pours a slightly hazy amber color with a frothy off-white head. Good head retention. Aroma of tropical and citrus hops, mild earth and caramel. The taste is bitter citrus and tropical hops, a bit of pine and candied citrus, pale malt. Medium bodied, lingering bitterness, decent balance.

12 ounce can. Bright orange color. Big foamy beige head. Fruity, spicy hop aroma. Bittersweet toasted malt flavor with peppery notes. Delicious caramel malt flavor balanced by a huge dose of complex hops. Finish is dry and bitter.

At the DC Craft Beer Festival. Poured a hazy amber color with a medium sized white head. Aroma was citrus, some caramel and malt. Touch malty, but pretty good. Alcohol was hidden.
