Sunday night, 20th Sep 2020. Three beer flight of their own beers in the Pied Bull, Chester. All three beers were in poor condition, glad I only had a third to drink of each! Brown body, red hue when held up to the light, off-white head. Malty front to this one, not much else to say about it.

Cask at Pied Bull, Chester Pours a hazy reddish brown with a tight cream head. Not much of a nose – just a vague malty sensation. In the mouth texture is creamy and watery. Not much taste either, nints of malt, dark fruits and caramel. Nothing actually wrong with it – just rather bland. Certainly not worth £4.70 a pint – luckily I got 20% CAMRA discount !
