Cask-conditioned at the Lion & Key, Hull February 2020. Amber in colour, with a slight, off-white, head. Hedgerow fruits, a hint of leafy hop, some caramel, chewy malts and a moderately bitter finish. Fine.

Cask a source. A clear amber orange coloured pour with a a creamy head. Aroma is vanilla, plastic, bready.. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, dull bready grains, malts, honey, simple and dull,. Palate is semi sweet, grainy, low carbonation.

Cask at the Lion and Key, Hull, 20/02/20. Clear golden copper with a decent light beige cap. Nose is grass, melon, biscuit, light breads. Taste comprises much the same, toasted grains, orange peel, straw, dusty fruits. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close with a modest level of bitterness. Ok.

Cask @ W. M. hawkes, Hull. Nice head with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are caramel, nuts, hops, fruits and has a sweet fruity finish.

Cask @ WM Hawkes, Hull. Clear brown with a lasting off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and dark fruit. Flavor is medium sweet. Sweet finish. 120220

1st Sep 2019, hand-pulled half-pint in the Lion & Key, Hull. Ruby, slight haze, thin off-white head. Not in the best condition, suspect it was towards the end of the barrel. Malty front to the nose and taste, late bitterness calms it down.
