We’ve taken a truckload of Brewers Gold and added a handful of roasted malt to create our first Irish Red Ale. Soft and easy drinking, with some interesting twists and a superb finish, Story Horse is a beer you can bet on.
There’s nothing our Irish friends enjoy more than to share a good yarn over a good pint, especially around St. Paddy’s Day. So if they ask ‘What’s the Story Horse?’, be sure to have one up your sleeve – or a tip for the Gold Cup.

Cask at the Plough in Kingham. Admittedly it isn't my favourite style but it came across as overly smoked. Nice colour though and far from unpleasant.

Hand-pulled cask pint in The Bradford Arms Hotel (Shropshire/Welsh border) on 20th April 2019. Deer red body, clean and clear; on top an off-white thin blanket of tight bubbles. Roasted and toasted malts rule both the aroma and semi-sweet flavour. Heavy body for such a low ABV. Nice.
