Very dark copper, with a large beige head. Aroma is fruity, dark sticky malts, very sweet malts, bready with hints if sweet barrel and Bourbon.. Finish is again quite sweet, hops are lost in the sticky, caramel, fruity malts. Actually reminds me alot of a doppelbock... An odd beer.

(Bottle) Brown colour with brief, beige head. Malty, slightly spicy nose with notes of dried fruit, brown bread, caramel, wood, some chocolate and fruit cake. Malty, slightly spicy taste with chocolate, dried fruit, dark rye bread, caramel, oak wood, fruit cake, vanilla and a sweetish finish with low bitterness. Medium body, quite sweet. The hops seem to disappear in all the dark malt, but still a really tasty and well balanced beer. Very nice.

330ml bottle. Clear, dark brown colour with ruby glimmer and small to average, frothy to creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, beige head. Fruity, hoppy aroma, hints of yellow apple, lychee, cherry, weak chocolately background, an even weaker Bourbon touch. Taste is sweet-ish, chocolately malty and fruity hoppy, diluted hints of cherry, orange flavoured chocolate, a touch of lychee; minimally dry, oaky and zesty finish, with a touch of orange peel, very subtle Bourbon flavours. Slightly watery texture.
