[September 2022] Copper brown with a frothy white head and a malty, hoppy nose. Floral bitterness, earthy and malty with some sweetness coming thorugh in the finish

19th Oct 2018; half-pint, gravity pour at the 4th CAMRA beer festival in Shifnal, Shropshire. As the name suggests this is a copper coloured beer with a good hop content. Semi-sweet actually though, biscuit and caramel flavours battle against the fruity hops (in a good way). Really enjoyed this and I had a second half before the train home, the only beer at the festival I had another glass of. My sweet tooth took to it straight away.

Cask-conditioned at the Pelican, Gloucester 16/9/2016. Deep copper in colour, with a slight, off-white, head. Tangerine fruits, leafy hops, sweet digestive malts and a moderately bitter finish. Good.
