German hops and a Kölsch lager yeast from a small brewery in Cologne make this a great Canterbury brewers take on a Kölsch lager style beer.

tap @ the brewpub in Canterbury. Pale straw-coloured with white head. Kölsch yeast but a lager? Nevertheless, quite fruity and pleasant, herbal-fruity hops on a decent malty base. Light-bodied and refreshing. Better than most of the German Kölschs I have tried.

14th Aug 2018. Keg third of a pint on a five beer flight. Clear light golden body, snow white head. Crisp, refreshing and like all Kölsch almost odourless and tasteless. Having said that I liked it, a mild hop bitterness helped, plus the fact I was thirsty and needed an uncomplicated beer alongside the other four on the flight.
