Bottle. Dark amber, low cream. Nice herbal hoppiness with a wild quality, honeyish sweet chewy malt base, well balanced. Medium body, solid, sparkly. Very pleasant, full-flavored yet more-ish.

Trotzdem nett!

(bottle, 33cl) Clear, deep golden colour with a short and slightly off-white foamy head. Berry-fruity, resiny and slightly exotic hoppy aroma with a delicately bready and caramelly malty background. Moderately sweet and mildly bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Slightly bready cara-malty base with fruity and slightly resiny hop character, including notes of citrus, berries and mango; sweet-bitter, quite balanced and lasting finish with fruity hops, resin and a whiff of caramel. 22.X.15

750ml bottle [as "1904 Jubiläums-Festbier" #90/110]. Clear golden colour with small o average, thick, frothy to creamy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Cautious, herbal hoppy aroma, minimally floral and fruity, minimally strawy, malty background. Taste is grainy, strawy, minimally sweet fruity, a very mild grassy hop touch; super soft palate. Rather loveless and uninspired for an anniversary ale.
