Can. Rich amber beer with a dark tan head. Citrus and light agave aroma with caramel. Caramel and agave flavor with light mineral notes. Medium bodied. Caramel and agave linger with light mineral notes.

Sample at the brewpub. Dark amber color with a medium off-white head that recedes steadily to an outer ring. Stringy lacing. Malt, caramel and slight hops in the nose. Light body with flavors of caramel malt, earthy hops and fruit. The finish is sweet with a malty aftertaste. Decent overall.

Bottle from CraftShack. Pours copper/amber with a beige head. Aroma is floral and malty. Med body. Flavor is malty with a little, arguably floral, hop. Might be a touch of citrus. Not entirely dry. Not very bitter - but it is bitter, and it’s a much more palatable amber than oh so many.

On 2nd June 2016 I was taken to the Taphouse before an LA Galaxy game. Five beer flight, plus a 16oz glass. This was one of my chosen beers in the flight. Amber pour, beige head. Mild malty brew with a slight smoky nature, hops arrive late in the mouth: decent.
