Sample at the brewpub. Hazy straw color with a thin white head that evaporates quickly to a film. Spotty lace. Wheat, spice and malt aroma. Light body with flavors of herbal wheat, mild spice and biscuit malt. The finish is wheaty with a fruity aftertaste. Decent overall.

Bottle from Bine & Vine. Pours gold with a white head. Aroma is mango. Not quite med body. Flavor is mango, but banana and clove is present. I wouldn’t recommend this as a hefweizen, but would as a pleasant and refreshing beer. Fairly dry and not bitter - but the clove helps with that.

Pour is a hazy straw with a large white head. Aroma is pretty much all mango. Flavor is a mango with a big bitterness. While I love mango this was way one dimensional as this is all about the mango. Not that this a bad thing especially if you like mango like I do.

On 2nd June 2016 I was taken to the Taphouse before an LA Galaxy game. Five beer flight, plus a 16oz glass. This was one of my chosen beers in the flight. Pours a misty lemon colour, wheaty, yeasty, fruity and interesting. The Mangos were evident in the taste, but not so in the aroma: which was a more traditional banana and vanilla smell. Liked it.
