Racing Dragon is a punchy golden ale with an exciting hoppy taste. Based on Pale Malt with Magnum Simcoe and Columbus hops. An excellent addition to the Sandstone Family. A beer with a rush of flavours to excite the palate strong yet refreshing. Our current best seller and well worth racing to the bar for!

28th July 2015: 500ml bottle conditioned, into an ’Old Speckled Hen’ badged vase shaped pint glass at home with the dog. Slight haze to the old gold coloured body, a white foam blanket sat on top, plenty of carbonation bubbles rising through the brew, with small sediment particles drifting around within the flow. Distinct farmyard odour on opening the bottle (BBD 31 Oct 2015), thought it might be infected and on tasting my thoughts continued to feel that way: sour strains within the flavour and taste. A lesser man would have drain poured it, but I soldier on with the beer getting worse as it warms a little in the glass. I pretend I am drinking a Saison and everything is fine although tomorrow I may well have some digestion problems and spend time on the loo. Lets just say it’s a poor Blonde but a decent Saison. Scored objectively (and kindly). I could not have finished this bottle without the aide of Mediterranean Herbed Olives, Bavarian Blue Brie and Salted Biscuits: so much for dieting!
