Don’t be fooled, this is a tricky pale ale to tantalise the taste buds. Complex citrus and pine character from four US hops is balanced with a crisp bitterness and a dry, biscuity finish from pale and amber malts.

1st May 2015: hand-pulled half-pint at The Crown Inn, Oakengates. Light copper coloured body with an off-white top. Toffee and hop aroma, the taste also giving those two flavours a good seeing too. Not as hoppy in nature as I expected (4 different US hop varieties), but more a pleasant blend with a sweetness from the malts pushing the hops into second fiddle.
