Golden with a white head - Fruity hop aroma with some malts as well - Malt body with some fruity hops with some bitterness - The fruity bitterness goes into the finish - This was nice

Draught @ Stone Tap Room, San Diego, CA
Pours orange with a smooth head. Aroma of sweet fruits, vegetables, caramel and hints of spices. Taste is sweet, stuffy and slightly spicy with hints of vegetables and fruits. Finish is sweetish and fruity with hints of stuffy notes. A bit unbalanced.

My first flight at Stone’s Liberty station was mostly lighter alcohol options, this being one of the weakest (my notes claimed 5.4% ABV). Golden, light golden in fact, sparse covering of wispy whiteness that might have been a head straight after the pour, but not by the time it came to my table outside. The nose was a blend of fruitiness and traces of malt molasses to come. The taste slightly more bitter than the aroma hints at, the malts being suppressed by the slightly citric hop content. Refreshing and pleasant enough, but not a real ’Stone’ beer as I know them!
