On cask at the Guildford Arms. Appearance - golden with a proportionate head. Nose - tangy apples are predominant and some custard Taste - more of the same. Palate - close to medium bodied with a tangy texture and a fairly good finish. Overall - not that impressed

Hand-pulled half-pint at The Crown, Oakengates on 10 Oct 2013. Pours a clear golden colour with a good white head of foam. Fresh hop aroma and taste, a lot better than I expected. Mild fruit feel to the beer as it warmed a little, malts also appeared towards the end of the half which didn’t seem to be around initially. I’ve lambasted Cotleigh in the past for producing too many bland beers, this doesn’t fall into that category at all.

Draught. Slightly hazy golden with good white head. No noticeable aroma. Medium body, lightly carbonated. Malty with a little fruity tartness. Minimal bitterness in the finish which is a little metallic. OK, not great.
