On the 3rd Oct 2013 my wife and I had 22 half-pints between us at the 35th Telford Beer Festival: this was one of those 22 from a choice of 34 hand-pulls in The Crown Inn, Oakengates. Bright golden body with a full head of snow white foam on top. Hops rule the roost here: this beer was brewed the celebrate the breweries 21st year and they obviously pushed the boat out with the hop selection. Fruity and floral with a trace of citrus in both the aroma and taste. I’m not a huge fan of Rudgate’s beers to be honest, but this was fine in every aspect, so good for them!
