On the 3rd Oct 2013 my wife and I had 22 half-pints between us at the 35th Telford Beer Festival: this was one of those 22. Hand-pulled: pale golden brew with plenty of character in all the right places. The beer is a lovely blend of flavours, the hops giving it a good nose and the malts arriving in the mouth to make it a well rounded and semi-malty tasting beer. The alcohol is nicely hidden within the body and the carbonation was soft and fairly lively: obviously fresh and in good order, a fine beer and one I’d have loved to carry on drinking, but we were on a mission to try as many of the 34 hand-pulls as possible before our taste buds went.
