Hand-pulled half pint on 3 Oct 2013 at the Crown Inn, Oakengates (one of 34 different cask offerings during a beer festival). Pours a proper golden colour with a creamy white head that stayed, it promised so much, but it didn’t deliver I’m sorry to say. Dry, hoppy and bland: yet another Rudgate beer with flavours that are so subtle they almost don’t exist at all. This was my third beer at the festival and by far the most uninteresting. There were other Rudgate beers available, but I stayed away from them because of this brew.
