Hand-pulled pint at The Crown Inn, Oakengates on 17 Jun 2013. Full on amber body with a lasting head of white foam. I found it slightly more malt than hop based in both the smell and taste: it was well balanced to be honest with a good blend of flavours with a mini bitter finish. Floral, earthy and almost fruity at times. All in all another good beer from Slater’s.

Cask at The Market Porter. Pours very dark amber with a creamy beige head. Heavy malty aroma. Med + body. Flavor is floral, earthy, grassy over a darkish roasty malt. Finishes moderately bitter.
