Originally a mistake, I believe: this beer is now brewed purely for ’Terry Holt’ (hence the name) and his customers at ’The Kings Head’ in the village of Lingwood, some seven miles from the brewery. The added honey turns the regular Swallow Tail a little darker and gives it more depth of flavour, with of course a fairly sweet honey taste. Good looking and fine body feel, I like sweetish beers. I really liked it, would have liked a side by side tasting with the normal Swallow Tail, but my two hand-pulled pints in The Kings Head were very nice.
