Our traditional session bitter. Burnished gold in colour, Pilot and Sovereign hops are combined to create a pleasant refreshing brew.

Two hand-pulled pints in The Cock Hotel, Wellington (Shropshire) on 8 Apr 2013. Light golden brown body with a creamy head in texture and colour, looked fine on both pours. The brew has a slight malt aroma and a semi-sweet malty start to its taste, the hops arrive towards the end of each sip to give the beer a pleasant dry hop finish. Overall this was a good beer, fairly sweet but not over-the-top in any of its attributes, just a well made balanced brew.
