Pola Beer

Carib Brewery in Champs Fleurs, Trinidad and Tobago 🇹🇹

  Lager - Pale Regular

5.05

The European-style Pola Beer is simultaneously refreshing and immensely satisfying.

The light bodied beer with an alcohol range of 4.8 – 5.3 %vol. displays an inviting pale golden colour.

Its fresh sulphidic aroma creates an exciting prelude to the rich estery flavour that is perfectly balanced by its bitterness making it a beer for all occasions.

Probably the worst of the Carib line. Metallic aftertaste like a punch in the jaw. Chemicals. Bought this at a gas station while filling up the rental car on my way to airport in Trinidad. Had a few sips in said airport.

Oh dear, Oh dear. I wanted to try every beer I saw on my holiday in Tobago, this was just about the worst (Miller beers are also available on the island and they are really crap). 275ml Brown Bottle, poured into a half-pint tumbler on my hotel balcony. Very, very pale gold, a quickly disappearing white head sat on top for a few seconds before it turned into a thin collar around the glass. Normal aroma score of 3 for my non-aroma lagers. Tasteless, really tasteless. Dry, watery and nasty. A metalic twang arrived in the mouthfeel, this is not a good beer.
