Tasted at the bateman’s brewery beer festival in late May 2007. Poured by gravity into a half pint sleeve glass, this light amber, almost golden beer arrived without any head, something I don’t normally like. Challenger and Stilton hops gave the beer its light colour, but added nothing to an average aroma. The tase was dry, crisp and satisfying, as was the mouthfeel. This was a very good beer, one of the best tried during the fest visit.
