O.P.A. (Oudenaardse Pale Ale)

33cl bottle from Struise Beershop Woesten e-shop.
F: medium, white, average retention.
C: gold, hazy.
A: malty, citrus, peach, honey, spicy.
T: full malty base, citrus, spicy, peach, bit herbal grassy, nice balanced long lasting bitterness, medium carbonation, very nice, enjoyed for sure.

Small off-white head, very stable, over veiled orange-ochre beer. Bit breathgripping grains/herbal nose; some diary, powdered citruspeel. Bitter, again citrus/citruspeel, dry. Still suggestion of restsugars underneath, but the hops dominate; herbal, leafy. Creamy texture due to the stable head; very slick, bit viscous. Good carbonation. Nice hoppy tripel, hopped with mainly EU hops but still displaying a nice, agreable bitter.

Hazy golden colour, light sweet, a bit malty, citrussy, hoppy, light tart, bitter finish.

Little cloudy orange to amber beer, small creamy white head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: bit fruity, little oxidized, malty, very floral, roses, chemical impression, lots of banana. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: chemical, sweet, pretty bitter, banana, tannins. Aftertaste: dry, very bitter, banana peel, chemical, not very nice.
