Bottle at home. Unclear red-brown color, small off-white to beige head. Aroma and flavor are malts, caramel, brown candy sugar especially in the aroma, less so in the flavor. There's, besides the obvious sweet aspect, an odd unexpected rather sharp bitter note to it, sort of underlying. It doesn't dominate however it annoys me. Mwah.

Süffiger, moderat alkoholischer Beginn. Dunkelmalzig ohne röstig zu sein, weich würzig, etwas eintönig. Okay. 10/7/8/7/10/7

33cl bottle. A hazy orange brown beer with a beige lacing. Aroma of mid sweet strong dark malt, raisins, dried fruits. Taste of mid sweet and strong dark caramelized malt, dried fruits, raisins.

Aus der Flasche (bbe 2026) im 2022-11 getrunken. Dieser dunkle, malzige Belgier hält was er verspricht. Da er noch recht jung ist findet sich hier ein typesche Kombination aus leichter Süße und leichte Hopfenbitterkeit.
