Can. Almost clear amber with a fat coat of off white head. Fruity aroma with cooked pineapple, peach, some lime, bread, some brown sugar. Big, depth charge -like with tenor register fruit and resin and a brooding bitterness with a swell of booze throughout. At first it seems like an old fashioned IIPA where the weight of the malt required to support the hops defeats the purpose of hopping it so highly in the first place -- but then there is a bit of a lifting away of the heaviness at the end.
