Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a cloudy amber with an off-white head. Aroma of banana and overripe fruit. Medium body, caramel, banana and yeast. A little dry in the finish with a surprising hoppiness. 280111

Bottle: Cloudy, amber coloured, rather quickly collapsing off-white head with a little lace; sourish lemony nose with a yeasty-wheaty touch; light to moderate sourish-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied, soft; slight sourish-wheaty finish. Quite bland Weizen, presumably a coloured "regular" ("Hell") Weizen....

(bottle) Cloudy, dark amber to brown colour with a big and stable, slightly tanned foamy head. Yeasty and quite sweet milky wheaty nose. Sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with an almost crispy carbonation. Again this milky wheaty flavours with restrained fruity notes and moderate spicy phenols. Sweetish, minimal sour but spicy finish. Not a highlight. 22.XII.09

Bottle. Sweet fruity aroma primarily banana, apple and clove but also vinegar. Medium brown color- cloudy with little head. Vinegar malt flavor - slight hops but the usual fruit and spice notes of a Weizen are absent. Body but on the watery side. A very different Weizen. Two different bottles were significantly different - first one had much more vinegar aroma and flavor - thought it might have been infected but second bottle while lighter still had noticeable vinegar aroma and taste.
