Bottle from a local bottle shop. Aroma is yeasty and fairly fruity with malt, spicy and estery notes, sugary fruits. Flavour is medium sweet with a light bitterness. Body is medium. Nothing special but pretty decent Tripel overall.

Smell- weak malt caramel, belgian tones. Foam-- thin, malt Carmel, Belgian tones, sweetness. Head is quite large, white in color. Sticks. Appearance- brewer bottle cap, simple label. Clear orange amber, few carbonation bubbles. From - pint Taste - weak malt, weak hops, weak Belgian tones, faint alcohol, some sweetness. Malty, sweet. Not the best Belgian, but not the worst also. Drinkable.

The ‘blonde’ and thus tripel version of strong dark Ferre, bottle from the Carrefour hypermarket in Sint-Denijs-Westrem. Snow white, moussy, dense, membrane-lacing head, misty golden blonde robe with vague peachy hue. Aroma of dried apricot, banana peel, old potatoes, sulfuric DMTS, cauliflower, clove (strong 4-vinyl-guaiacol), cooked soup meat, dried mugwort, unripe pear, honey, green beech leaves. Fruity, estery onset, ripe pear, medium banana and some peach; fizzy carbonation, honeyish residual sweetness over a white-bready and cereally malt core with pronounced 4-vinyl-guaiacol effect (clove, cooked meat) and earthy yeastiness, along with a floral but quite ‘long’ and earthy hop bitter note. Some warming, gin-like alcohol, but at acceptable levels for the genre. Some errors here, and in that sense clearly less solid than the original quad versions – another totally redundant example of a style ridiculously overexposed in this country.

Very good, dense, ligth cream-coloured head, irregular, over veiled orange beer. Rather spicy nose, fruity esters & fusels, faintly toasted malts, bit of citrus(liqueur). Pretty dry, partly sweet - again liqueurish - flavour. Citrus/orange, spices. Malts less prominent than in the nose. Again fruity esters, dominating, certainly warming up. Main taste is neutral, but the warming makes it sweeter. Quite slick, almost oily feel. Well-carbonated; dry finish and aftertaste. Decent tripel. Pittem must be far from Antwerpen - here Ferre ≡ Grignard. No idea where I got this one.

Donkergeel bier met schuim. Smaak is bitterzoet met iets van banaan, wat citrus en abrikoos. Gewoon een heel goede tripel.

33cl bottle from Prik & Tik Dranken Marlou. F: medium, white, quick gone. C: gold, light hazy. A: rich malty, bit caramel, mellow fruity, honey, peach, spicy. T: full malty base, bready, fruity, honey, caramel, spicy, medium carbonation, oh another Tripel for Belgium saturated of many, not bad at least.

Clear golden colour with lasting stable head. Aroma has malt sweetness but also a herbal note like a hair removing cream. Otherwise a Tripel by numbers, not bad, not great.
