In schönstem goldgelb erstrahlt der helle Weiherer Bock im Glas. Im Geruch kräftig malzig mit Honignoten, setzt sich dieser Eindruck auch im Antrunk fort. Die Malzsüße steht im Vordergrund, auch die Honignoten sind im Geschmack deutlich zu erkennen – ein voller Körper mit Weiherer Charme. Eine gute Portion Hopfen rundet das vollmundige Bockbier ab, das mit leicht wärmender Wirkung auch bereits dreimal die Jury beim European Beer Star überzeugt hat.

New rating, fall 2010: Deep gold, with a decent head. Awesome aroma - full of rich malts, spicy hops and bready notes. Big bock, full of spice and great malt complexity. It finishes big, with a solid alcohol signature. Some almost candyish malt sweetness. Exceptional pale bock.
Old rating, spring 2009: Bright copper colour. Ok head. Great aroma mixing orchard fruit (plum, apricot) with vibrant, toasty lightly toffeeish malts. Soft caramel body, with light earth, toast. Complex character and great body mixes drinkability with burlyness. 9-4-8-4-17 = 4.2

The bottle looks simple but good, the beer in the glass is okay. The beer starts very spicy and malty, strong but not alcoholic. Finish is bitter-dry for a short moment. Interesting and good bock!

bottle, diky do Poruri! Clear deep golden colour, mid-sized head. Quite sweet and malty with some spicy herbal notes and a hint of grass. Aromatic and dry bitterness in the finish.

Bottled. A golden beer with a lazing tan head. The aroma is sweet matly with strong notes of straw. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel and alcohol, the latter leaving a slight burn on the palate. A somewhat boring bock.

Bottled. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is sweet malts as well as some slight honeylike sweetness. Flavour is the same along with some hay and grassy notes. Quite wellbalanced.
