Bottiglia. Il gusto al naso propende per luppolo e fruttato. L'intensità olfattiva è elevata e la maniera in cui permane è apprezzabile. Il mantello birroso superiore è caratterizzato da una schiuma dalla buona tenuta. La grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. Il liquido si presenta cristallino e anche qui la grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. La carbonazione è persistente. Il colore è ramato. Il corpo è strutturato non pesante. L'amaro è deciso. La forza gustativa è elevata. La continuità gustativa è buona. Il gusto è piacevole. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano luppolate e di facile beva. Il finale è amarognolo, semplice e dissetante. Il retrogusto è di media intensità. Sul tetto della bocca si fermano sentori di miele, luppolo, resina, agrumi e scorza d'arancia amara.

On tap at Mastro Birraio Trieste, shared with hrabren. Golden coloured, medium sized off-white head, fruity and light citrusy nose. Sweet malty, fruity, light citrusy and mild earthy with notes of caramel and quite bitter finish. Not so fresh.

On tap at Mastro Birraio, Trieste, shared with Ogi. Clear golden to amber, small off-white head. Aroma is lightly hoppy, lightly fruity, citrusy, spicy. Quite thin, but drinkable. Fruity and malty flavour, light bitterness. Some ripe fruit, and earthy notes. Finishes dry, very thin.

Draught at Popolare: pours orange with white head. Aroma is biscuit, pine and vague citrus. Taste is a bit bright, ok malt backbone, light bitterness.

bottiglia 33 cl, bel cappello di schiuma pannosa bianca persistente, colore oro limpido, al naso è fruttata e il mix di luppoli è particolare malto ananas agrumi frutta tropicale, in bocca caramello mandorle agrumi frutta tropicale, corpo rotondo, carbonazione forte, amaro accentuato ben bilanciato lungo nel finale. Bottle 33 cl. Pours a hazy golden with a lively, dense and very white head. Aroma is very subdued, but the firs sip reveals that this has a solid dose of Sorachi Ace - lovely spicy Sorachi. Slightly bitter finish. A decent Pale Ale if not exactly a hop bomb. 050219

2l growler from the brewer. Amber/copper color with a big creamy off white head, light haze. American pale ale smell. Lots of caramel malts, juicy, nutty, well hopped (supposedly Sorachi Ace) with american hops providing flavors of orange, grapefruit, light bitternes. Consistent body, flavored, juicy. Soft carbonation, easy to drink. Finish is very smooth, comfy, bittersweet, but not sticky or too sugary. I personally like APAs in this fashion. Ace! (Early version brewed at Birrone, Jun 28, 2015) Bottle at Il Birrone. Cloundy amber color, thick offwhite head. Hoppy nose. Lots of resin and hops on a layer of caramelized malts, soft carbonation, medium to full body, proper bitterness, hoppy finish. 8/4/7/4/14=3.7

Lucky brews Japa 5.5% A reddish orange pour with a lemony somewhat sour nose. The taste is prickly pine, a sour fruity tang and ok malts.
