Cask at Silverback Alehouse, Winton. Clear amber with a small bubbly white head. Aroma of huge licorice and aniseed with malt and caramel behind. Flavour is light to moderate sweet and bitter. Light medium bodied with very soft carbonation.

Cask (Old Green Tree, Bath) - Dark brown with red tinges. Blackcurrant, dried fruit and some nutty hints in the aroma. The taste is nicely balanced with blackcurrant, raisins, chestnuts and cocoa detected.
