Draught@Nolia Luleå 2022. Black colour, small beigeish brown head, which lasts for quite a while. Aroma is peated, some liquorice, mild chocolate, syrup as well as some slight alcohol sweetness. Flavour is liquorice, some chocolate, peated, mild syrupy and alcohol tones.

Sample @ SBWF 2022. Poured black in color, tan head. Strong woody notes, some warmth. Pleasant roasty , almost ashy finish. Strong.

Taster at SBWF 2022. Black with a small tan head. A lot of peat, dark malt, licorice. Warming finish. A nice one.

(Draught, taster, Stockholm Beer & Whisky Festival, 9 Oct 2021) Black colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with smoke, peat, liquorice, coffe and cacao. Malty, roasted, vinous taste with notes of peat, smoke, coffee, chocolate, oak wood, liquorice and a warming finish with a generous spicy bitterness. Full body, quite sweet. Surprisingly well balanced for its strength and complexity. Complex, warming and really tasty. Very nice.

--Keg at SBWF 2021. -- Black, small brown head. Peaty licorice aroma. Mid sweet with full body and clean mouthfeel. Licorice, treacle, salmiak. Warming peppery finish with long bitter finish.
