This collab was made in 2020 after months of lockdown, isolation and closed borders, with our german friends Sudden Death Brewing. We want you to remember that this too shall pass and the distance between us will end. Until then, discover what’s behind the mask.

”This is a really hoppy beer, where we used both regular hops and cryo hops enhance the fruity notes. We added oats to create a nice body and a well balanced sweetness. Also, we tried out the whole new hops type TALUS”

[ As Poppels / Sudden Death Behind The Mask ].
ABV: 8.5%. Hazy - murky matt medium to dark orange yellow colour with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, wheat, oat, fruity malt, moderate to heavy hoppy, orange, dried fruit, ripe fruit, passion frukt, light weizen yeast. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet with a long duration, rich, ripe fruit, orange, warm fruit, orange zesty, passion fruit, light weizen yeast. Body is medium, texture is oily - creamy, carbonation is soft. [20210329]

0.33 l can from Goblet Beer Store, Zagreb. Shared with little Dina. Murky yellow to golden, small off-white head. Moderately to heavily hoppy aroma, fruity, tropical, ripe mango, ripe peach, spicy notes, biscuity, some green hops, some vanilla. Flavour is fruity, tropical blast, stone fruit, quite sweet, spicy, mint, a bit overwhelming. Sticky, medium to full body, nice balance, alcohol slightly present, soft to moderate carbonation, appealing and drinkable, moderately lasting finish. Flavourful.

Canned 330ml. -from Goblet Zagreb. Murky yellow coloured, small to medium sized white head, citrus and mild peach in the nose. Citrus, light tropical fruits and notes of peach with bitterish sweet finish. Not bad.

Can. An unclear golden beer with a yellowish head. The aroma has notes of hops, citrus fruits, spices, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of citrus fruits, hops, peaches, spices, hops, and malt, leading to a bitter finish.
