16oz can thanks to Doug. Pours near black with a medium sized beige head, light lacing. Dark malts, chocolate, leather, vanilla, coffee. Smooth

Black body with off white head. Much lacing. Oatmeal, caramel and coffee aroma. Chocolate, porridge and coffee taste. Some floral in the finish

Taster at brewery. Dark brown, ring of beige head. Roasty aroma, char. Taste is roasty, chocolate, bitter, mildly sweet.

Backlog from notes on tap at the brewery. Pours out a black topped with a tan head. Nose is nice sweet milk chocolate a little spice some vanilla maybe and a coffee touch. Taste is more of the nice sweet chocolate some coffee and a light spice.

Tap. Black color with tan ring. Aroma is chocolate, malty, cereals. Taste is cereals, chocolate. Super-silky oat mouthfeel. Nice, but it’s a bit too watery.

On tap at The Loyal Legion, pours a deep dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma brings out notes of dry cocoa and light toasted malt. Flavour is smooth, with notes of cocoa and light toasted malt. Dry and fairly complex. Light-bodied but still delicious. Very good.

Draft - Roasty notes and some oatmeal. Deep black with a nice light brown head. Dark roast and a nice mouthfeel. Solid but nothing special.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a very dark brown with small beige head that lasts. The aroma is strong roast, chocolate and vanilla. Thick mouth, rich roast, dark chocolate, nuts, oatmeal cookie, very nice.

Keg at the brewery tap in Corvalis, 10/11/14. Light black with moderate tan edgework. Nose is dark red berries, malty wafts, chocolate, light roast. Taste comprises light roast, lactic pangs, chocolate, toffee, red berry licks. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent.
