16oz can pours a very murky orange with some creamy white head. Nose has mango and melon, light orange and tangerine, plenty of guava too, light candy, perfume. Flavor follows suit, guava and mango and a little dried pineapple, some malt, a little chewed bubblegum, some citrus rind bitterness. Finishes a bit slick and lightly sweet.

500mL can, pours a cloudy blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out piney hops and cereal malts. Flavour is similar, with sharp piney hops and crisp biscuity malt in good balance. Crisp and very dry. Great stuff.

Damn, I am so glad I have 4 of these, whether it is to share the good beer, or be selfish and enjoy the hell out of this beer myself. Canned 1/6/2016, so this is officially the first beer ive had that was born this new year. Beer is to celebrate chucks hop shop, a fantastic beer shop in Seattle that I don’t visit nearly enough. Every time I do there, it’s packed, and their success is well deserved. The place is equal in greatness as this beer. Rating #1958, the birth year of The Beatles, and Pizza Hut. Cloudy light orange pour with a rocky foam head. Bright citrus aroma, with the perfect aromatic hop scent that I would go broke if it were available as a bottled fragrance of sorts. Low bitter, semi sweet grapefruit hops up front and a smooth orange finish. Covers all the bases of a headlining IPA for me. The kind of borderline imperial that I could session on all day. I thought a four pack was plenty, but I honestly wish I had more. This is the kind of beer that allows me to sit back with a beer in my hand, and just soak in the pure spoiledness of being a beer lover in the Pacific NW. Top of the line IPA here. Loved it.
