This is our interpretation of the great classic of the British islands, a porter brewed with rye and malt smoked with beech. the roasted coffee and chocolate notes pair very well with the smokiness of the specialty malt. The perfect ale to revive the after work of the 18th century dockers in London.

Bottle 33cl. @home poured into a pilsner glass. Smoked nose. Opaque ruby brown colour, small stable creamy beige head, good lacing. Aroma roasted malts, smoky, light grain, bacon, light chocolate. Taste medium sweet and slightly bitter, roast and smoke, light bacon, light grain, chocolate, coffee groundings. Medium body, watery texture, soft carbonation, mild roasted sweetbitter aftertaste, smokey, lingering chocolate, ashy and peppery notes, lacks some backbone and structure but nevertheless very nice.
