Drank after an epic tasting in the lobby of Sammy s office.,smells go poppy, tastes hoppy, pours down the gullet. Good balance bit nothing spectacular. Bottle from lcbo.

Pours a golden-amber colour with a beautiful creamy warm cap, good retention and full thick creamy lace. Lots of particles float around - no filtering here. Not your typical strong piney-grapefruit aromas, but still, hoppy with the sweet malt balancing things. Mild silky-oily mouthfeel. Same different hop for the taste, but the malt is not as sweet as the nose gives out to be. Slightly on the fruit side and caramel. Not too dry, and the bitterness is nice in the finish. Not as hoppy as most American IPA, but a nice warming one. Quite enjoyable.

Bottle. Slightly hazy bright orange color with a small frothy off-white head. Aroma of citric and slightly piney hops, a bit stale, and some slightly honey-ish malt. Flavor has a bit of chewy malt sweetness, slightly biscuity, and sharp hoppy bitterness with some citric notes. Medium-bodied. Decent.

Bottle: Deep golden, hazy, some floaties visible, medium-sized lacy white head, moderate bready-hoppy nose with a slight rural touch; dryish bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied, quite soft; dryish bitter-hoppy finish, accompanied by some certain fruity traces. Surely good, but not completely convincing...

Tap at Elysian Fields, Seattle - 09/11/12. Hazy light golden with a thin white head that soon clears to the edge of the glass and forms a pond. Nose is light pine, hops, mango, citrus notes. Taste follows nose with light mineral tones, a little on the sweet side, candied sugars. Medium bodied with soft carbonation leading to a bitter finish.

(Draught at Akkurat, Stockholm) Golden colour with frothy, off-white head. Fruity, malty nose with citrus, peaches, grainy malt, grass and a touch of hay. Malty, fruity taste with notes of dried fruit, citrus, peaches, hints of spices (coriander?) and a slightly resinous bitterness in a finish with a a touch of candy sugar sweetness coming through. Medium body. A different, but quite nice and tasty.

Pours chunky, cloudy gold into a shaker. White head with little retention recedes to skim surface. Sour caramel and grapefruit aromas. Crisp and dry with mild earthy bitter grapefruit. Not much else.

Draught at Macgregor’s Penfield. Faint nose of citrus, clean malt, honey. Honey gold color with a fine head. Fruity flavor, citrus and grape, a bit of tropical fruit, orange honey. Clean. Bitter finish. Decent enough though not very interesting.
