Gravity cask at the GBBF Winter 2023 Festival, day 2 at Burton On Trent Town Hall, 17/02/23. Clear golden blonde with a white cap that dissipates to a swirl. Nose is citric sherbets, grass, light floral notes, melon. Taste comprises soft malts, melon, perfume, grass, light breads, straw, faint citric drizzle. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close. Decent enough Golde.

Cask at the great British winter beer festival. A clear bright gold yellow coloured pour with a lasting loose white head. Aroma is rustic horsey, straw, horsey blanket. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, tangy grains, straw, damp hay, some funky horsey.. Palate is semi sweet, grainy, moderate carbonation. Decent rustic gold.

Cask at Beerbohm, Lichfield. Pours a golden yellow with minimal white head and good lacing. Malts and honey in the nose. In the mouth it has a juicy texture with flavour of grains and biscuits plus hints of hops and general citrus. Finish is bready. A good solid beer – I rather liked it
