Drinking and discovering this beer, at the bistro 120, at Evian, on friday, in family. Not a revolution in the mouth, correct Belgian ale, on the way of a leffe blonde, boozy, warm, malty, sweet, sugar with a classical hop, a bit short and watery. 29.05.22

clear dark golden colour, large, creamy ecru head, which lasts for several minutes; aroma of green tea, honey, pear, apple peel, green herbs, grassy, slight lemongrassy and vanilla notes; bittersweet taste with fruity and green herbs notes, as well as some spicy-celery, maybe black peppery aftertaste; really good one

Thin off white head on a slowly carbonating clear amber coloured body. Herbal, vinous & outdoor aroma. Medium bodied, soft on the tongue with a tingle on the back. Pine, herbal, yeast, vinous & spicy tastes with a sweet grape finish. Different - improves at it goes along. Nice.

500ml can from Beerwulf. Poured a crystal clear golden colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head and a few bubbles. The aroma is malt, funky yeast. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a smooth, malt, gluey yeast, floral, aromatic, light alcohol, woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation. Reminded me of a super strength malt liquor but with less alcohol.

Bottle. Has a clear straw colour with a small off-white head. Aroma of phenols, grass, wet hay, pepper, white bread and sweet corn. Flavour of flowers, grass, wet hay, almonds and phenols. Has a slick mouth feel, medium body and a light bitterness. Malty and decent.

750 ml bottle, crown-capped with swingtop for re-sealing. From Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 6.9%. Clear golden colour, huge white head. Pleasant aroma of spices, white kandij sugar syrup and Belgian ale yeast. Distinctly spicy flavour too, medium sweet, again notes of white kandij sugar and Belgian ale yeast, a hint of vanilla. Moderate hops and more spices in the finish.
