Slight haze, medium head, has a citrusy nose, but on the palate mixes that with pine. Decent malt.

Tap. Hazy orange color with white head. Aroma is grapefruits, hop oils, some grains. Taste is grainy, cooked vegetables. Vegetables aftertaste. Needs some refinement.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a hazy orange with small white head that lasts. The aroma is citrus and pine. Medium body, grass, grapefruit, lingering bitterness, good.

Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours a clear orange gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has bitter citrus with some grass and a bread backing. Flavor has a nice citrus and grass combination with a light grain backbone.

Bottle from The Hop and Hound, Bothell, WA
Hazy golden color with medium sized head. I appreciate the mouthfeel, dry with a smack, it also has some toffee and cereals qualities, but it doesn’t deliver enough; the aroma is limited, the hops are very resiny, but just mildly fruity; very strong bitterness.
I’m thinking of a non fresh Pale Ale. Not totally bad, but it could aspire to higher levels.

On tap at Peddler, pours a clear dull golden copper with a small white head. Nose of earthy, herbal hops, some pine and biscuity malt. Flavour is way too malt-heavy, with syrupy caramel overshooting the resinous hops big time. There is a big astringency on the finish, with a cloying syrupy quality as well. Exactly how not to brew an IPA. Not good.
