Dörst is a double-decocted, imminently sessionable Pilsner. Notes of cracker and sourdough bread crust dominate, and the yeast lends a very light tartness. Alsatian-grown Triskel hops provide a subtle, rounded citrus note to this delicate yet complex beer.

Can to lager glass.
Appearance: transparent yellow color with a two and a half fingers of foamy head which slid off nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: biscuity to crackery malts up front with some grassy/floral hops
Flavor: malty smooth semi-sweet tones meshing with the floral sweetness of those hops; mild aftertaste of floral hops & slight biscuity tones
Texture: light bodied, sessionable, great smoothness along tongue; finishes crisp, floral and grassy
Overall: nicely done pilsener I would have again.

Pint can from Beer Run, 5/18/23. Clear gold, large white head, poor to average retention. SO close to a five for appearance but not quite. Aroma of bready malt, lemon, floral hops. Taste is lemon, green, pale malt. Juicy, moderate bitterness. Solid.

Canned 9/7/21, drunk 11/3/21. Clear, pale-brass with a large, white, well-retained head. Mineral, unripened pear, light, dainty honey, cracker and soft pepper are all beautiful and harmonious. Nothing weird going on here, nor any booze, overhopping, flaw, etc...just delicate, malty, yet seemingly dry, authentic pils. Excellent, hoppy, but not-too-hoppy flavors of lemon, black pepper and dried herbs. The malt is soft, very nicely attenuated but still substantial and the carbonation is tight and engaging. Biscuit/cracker doesn't overwhelm with dryness/scratchiness and the acidity never builds up. It's quite light, at first I thought it was a touch on the watery side, but as the palate adjusts it becomes perfect. An incredible quaffer and one I'd love to drinks buckets of.
