Taster from bottle at Central NJ Beerfest at Mercer County Park. Opaque black pour. Creamy tan ring. Aroma of dark chocolate and espresso. Flavor follows nose. Dark chocolate, coffee, dark dried fruits. Pretty smooth for the style. Creamy mouthfeel. Some booziness on backend. Quite tasty.

(Bottle) Pours very dark brown, no head. Pleasant complex aroma of chocolate, coffee, dried fruits. Medium body with bright almost fizzy carbonation. Great taste. Nicely chocolatey with dried fruit. Some vanilla hints in the finish before a gentle coffee bitterness. Unusual imperial stout but very enjoyable.

Bottle at Luton airport - waiting for flight to Burgas. Pours deep brown with a frothy mocha cap that settled down pretty quickly. Pretty solid overall, nice rounded dark malt character, sweet chocolate, good alcohol bump, softly ashy roast, a little scorched earth. Full bodied, lightly oily, with fine carbonation. Warm-hot finish with more bittersweet chocolate character, restrained roast, earth, background raisins perhaps, some coffee ice cream. No problem.
