Solides, aber vielleicht ein wenig beliebiges böhmisches Lager. Malzig-getreidig, hintergründige aber schöne blumige Hopfenaromatik, deutliche Bitterkeit, schlank, trocken.

Aroma of grains and straw. Flavour is grainy, no sweetness, with a light bitter finish. Standard, uninteresting Pilsner.

Can 0,5ltr: Golden clear colored brew with an nicely bitter taste, decent hints of maltiness and hoppiness. Bought it at one of the many minimarkets around touristcity of Praha-2.

I got a 500 ml can at Albert supermarket near the Hilton in Prague. Lifting the cap and tilting into a room drinking glass, pretty classy, huh? Bright gold body, fluffy head of absolutely white foam and plentiful carbonation. It smells like Pilsners usually do. The taste is also mostly standard in the style. Light malt, grain, perhaps some hops. More bitter than sweet but much of either. At dinner last night a 50 cl glass of Kozel cost less than my wife’s 33 cl bottle of Coke Zero. Culture adjustment I guess.

50 cl can from an underground shop near Muzeum. Deep golden pour with an off-white head. Aroma is used socks, armpit, cardboard, sports T-shirt. You know. Artificial sweeteners, lots of adjuncts, booze. Other than that, just sparkling water, and the least quality. Baaaaaad.

Gennemsigtig gylden med et lille hvidt skum. Sød malt og en smule frugt. Meget humle domineret.

Klare goldene Farbe mit weißer Schaumkrone. Malziger, schwach hopfiger Geruch. Geschmacklich malzig, brotig, schwach hopfig. Mittlere Süße mit leichter Bitterkeit, leichter Körper mit spürbarer Kohlensäure.

500 ml bottle from Melbourne Beach Market. Pours a clear gold color with a white head and excellent retention. Almost no lacing. Standard pale lager aroma with a slight skunky edge. The taste follows the nose: Soft Euro pale malt flavor with some minor sulfur notes in the finish. No pilsner characteristics. Decent Euro lager that's slightly better/less skunky than average. Medium body. Medium-light carbonation. Not bitter.
