Keg at Brewdog shepherds Bush. A dark black brown coloured pour with a lasting loose light tan head. Aroma is big sticky pine resin, tar, liquorice, brown sugars,. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, toasted malts, brown sugars, sticky pine sap, liquorice, to warming chilli, woody bark. Solid chilli heat, not over whelming. Palate is semi sweet, rounded, sticky hop, moderate carbonation. Really nice.

Keg at brewdog lothian road. Pours black, nose is chocolate, caramel, plum, taste is dark fruits, chocolate, liquorice, spicy chilli. Very nice black ipa base.

Keg at BD Dalston - London. Pours clear brown with a small, creamy khaki head. Lightly sweet with pleasant citrusy hops, mellow toasted fine, sturdy dry chili pepper spice, background toasted malts. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Balanced finish, more decent spicy kick, light cocoa, grapefruit, pine. Tasty.

Keg at BD Inverurie. It pours black with a small, khakis head. The aroma is rich roasted malt, smokey, spicy, warming chilli, dark chocolate, mole sauce, roasted malt, peppery snout and cacao. The taste is dry, bitter - sweet, warming spice, umami, chilli, peppery, mole sauce, dark chocolate, liquorice, touch of plum, dark fruits, D&B, Dr Pepper, charred, toasted pine, warming chilli spice, toothy and aniseed with a warming, spicy finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Spice works really well with the base. A top tier chilli beer.
