Handwerklich gebraut nach dem Bayerischen Reinheitsgebot von 1516. Animierende Frische, reife Fruchtnoten und dezente Röstmalzsüße zeichnen dieses süffige Kellerbier aus. Deutliche Hopfenaromatik verleiht dem Bier Eleganz und Tiefe. ‚So wie früher’ schmeckt das traditionell oberfränkische, leicht dunkle Kellerbier zur deftigen Brotzeit auf dem Bierkeller genauso wie zuhause.

Dark amber colour with small head.Aroma of hops and malt mild toasted and roasted with hint of grain and caramel mild and easy to drink kind of beer.

500 ml can from the 2025 Costco German Biergarten Collection. Pours a clear bronze color with a beige head and very good retention. Very good lacing too. Light caramel malt aroma. The taste follows the nose: Sweet caramel malt flavor throughout. Tastes like an Oktoberfest beer. Very smooth and clean. Medium body. Lower than expected carbonation. Zero bitterness. Best beer in the box so far.

Clear amber to copper coloured beer, big creamy light beige head, unstable, falls down quickly. Aroma: some sulphur, a bit dirty, malty, caramel, a bit oxidized, almonds, more sulphur. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: very sweet, malty, caramel, a little metallic, very gentle bitterness, fruity, a bit sourish. Aftertaste: malty,g rains, some caramel, good dry bitterness in the finish.

Trüb bernsteinfarben mit weißer Schaumkrone. Malziger, brotiger Geruch. Geschmacklich malzig, brotig, getreidig mit Karamell, schwach hopfig. Mittlere Süße mit leichter Bitterkeit, mittlerer Körper mit spürbarer Kohlensäure.

500ml Bottle - Deep amber with a foamy head. Bread, rye and some hints of caramel, dried fruit and berries in the aroma. Bready, nutty and slightly toasted taste with some notes of rye, caramel, blackcurrant and some slightly earthy hints.

From tap at Café Brecht in Amsterdam 05.07.23 at an unplanned stop in Amsterdam on the way to joining the sailing yacht Baluba as all trains were cancelled because of a storm. Clear reddish golden. Diminishing white head. Fine aroma of pilsner malt, caramelly Münich malt and noble hops. Good and very drinkable.
