Hallerndorfer Kellerbier

It's light to mid amber in colour, with just the slightest hint of haziness. A couple of fingers of white head, fades rather quickly but leaves a bit of lacing. Quite intense aroma (per style). Light crackery malts base, a bit of honeyish sweetness, a rather vivid fruitiness for a lager (can't pick something specific tough, maybe apple) and herbal/grassy notes in the background. Taste follows the aroma quite closely, again with good enough intensity, but in a not too clean/defined way. Fruitiness, especially, feels kind of confused with no specific notes. Taste is medium to high in sweetness and medium in bitterness, with a sweetish mouth and a balanced (not too dry/slightly sticky) finish. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation, easy enough on the palate. Overall a fair beer, but i was not too impressed.

Fles gedeeld door Tomhendriksen en gedronken met Benzai en Keukeman. Amberkleurig helder bier met matig schuim dat snel weg trekt. Aroma van karamel en een beetje mout. Smaak is moutig en hoppig. Nasmaak is iets bitter.

Bottle recieved with Euro Swap 3 2019, many thanks to Rauchbierlover. Bottle shared with Inoven, Benzai and Keukeman. It has a light amber color with a full sized creamy off-white head. The aroma is malty and caramel. Taste malts, caramel and nuts.

Bottle shared with Jacob and Andres prior to their disappearing in the Fasching festivities. Light brown with a fleeting, frothy white head. Aroma of caramel and mixed grains. Taste is mildly sweet, caramel dominating, with a mild and grainy bitterness at the end. Medium bodied, moderate to mild carbonation. Not bad.

Orange color, slightly hazy. Caramel and oak in the aroma. Sweetish caramelly flavor. Some distant hoppiness. Peach and a hint of oak. Hopbitter aftertaste. Fine kellerbier, full of flavor. Re-rate swing top bottle: cake dough and peach in the aroma. Malty cake dough flavor with hints of licorice and pear. Nice!

Draught @ Hütt’n, Nürnberg. Pours hazy orangeish amber with airy light beige head. Clear aroma of malt and yeast, with touches of hops and caramel. Sweetish flavour of yeast and caramel malt, with sourish, grainy notes and bitter, hoppy touches. Estery and malty aftertaste with acidic hints. Decent for the style and quite enjoyable as such.

Boca 0,5L - kupljena u Njemačkoj - odlična crvena boja, baš pravi okus kellerbiera, možda i najbolji koji sam pio dosad..

Bottle [from Euro Swap 2018-3 thanks to Rauchbierlover] @ home. Clear dark golden to light amber color, full sized creamy off-white head. Aroma is malts, caramalts. Taste malts, caramalts, lightly sweet malty notes, slightly a nutty hint in the background and maybe some notes of caramelised sugars. Fresh, soft, pleasant. Quite nice.

This beer has lots of flavour for a kellerbier, but it comes through real easy drinking and is great for the style. D&S dresden

At Internationales Berliner Bierfestival 2018. Dark golden with a white head. Fairly mild with bread, caramel and some hay. The body was on the light side.
