Handwerklich gebraut nach dem Bayerischen Reinheitsgebot von 1516. Animierende Frische, reife Fruchtnoten und dezente Röstmalzsüße zeichnen dieses süffige Kellerbier aus. Deutliche Hopfenaromatik verleiht dem Bier Eleganz und Tiefe. ‚So wie früher’ schmeckt das traditionell oberfränkische, leicht dunkle Kellerbier zur deftigen Brotzeit auf dem Bierkeller genauso wie zuhause.

swing top bottle 500ml. -at Hop In Zagreb. Clear golden coloured, medium sized creamy white head, weak grainy nose. Sweet malty, grainy, light caramel and some herbal hops with rather dry finish. Drinkable lager.

Bottle at Broom, courtesy of the importers/distributors, thanks! Poured a shiny clear amber body with a white head. Pungent aroma, flowery notes and light maltiness. Aromatic taste, light noble hops, herbal, a bit sweetish. Okay beer, good lager.

On tap @So Good (Rome). Ambrata carica, limpida, schiuma media non molto persistente. Al naso sentori di metallo, sangue, malto (caramello). In bocca è dolce, squilibrata, piatta, monotona. Corpo medio, carbonazione medio-leggera. Pessima.

Clear pale to medium amber colour, good frothy off-white head, diminishing slowly, good lacing. Aroma pale malts, grain, bit dusty, caramel, light nutty touch. Taste medium sweet and bitter, malty, light toffee, spicy notes. Mild malty sweetbitter finish, light spicy notes, medium body, watery to oily texture, soft carbonation, fresh and pleasant.

Bottle. Surprisingly clear copper-amber color with beige head. Aroma is caramel malts, honey, slightly metallic herbal-earthy hops. Taste is bitter caramel, slightly berry-fruity, honey, finish is lieblich with hearbal-earthy aftertones and a little bit metallic. I don’t know what’s so Keller about this, but it is a fine amber-malty Landbier. Huge drinkability, and you know I like amber if it’s well made, so I like this one!

Draught Huge cream head, incredibly dense, clear pale copper beer. Diacetyl, sweet buttery, butterscotch, leafy. Less in the taste, but still very sweet and buttery. Bit of pineappleester. Yeast?? Sweet, cloying, buttery feel. A Kellerbier - diacetylbomb? Exposed to the air during kegging, the pipes in the pub?

Draft @ Fränkisches Bierfest, Nürnberg. Pours a dark golden color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty grainy aroma. Fruity malty grainy flavor with weak grassy hints. Has a fruity malty grainy finish.
