Cask @ Barum Top Inn, Halifax. Clear golden with a creamy head. A slower sipper with a hoppy taste, with its strength more evident in its aftertaste. Its fruitiness is best in its nose.

Cask at The Pennsylvanian (Wetherspoons), Rickmansworth, Herts. A hazy golden/amber coloured pour with a small white head on top. Hoppy, citrus, malty, fruity aroma and taste. This was actually pretty decent and quite boozy after 3 pints.

Cask at Butlers Bell, Stafford. Pours a golden amber (which is slow to settle) with a small white head and good lacing. Not much of an aroma, just vague hoppiness. In the mouth it has an initial sweetness of barley sugar sweets, but there are also tropical fruits like mango and melon, floral hops and underneath it all a hint of malts. A reasonable enough traditional style IPA, but a bit of a strange combination of flavours.
