Cask @ Barum Top Inn, Halifax. Slightly deeper golden with a creamy head. Citrus is prevalent but without much bitterness, which allows a hint of sweetness through.

Cask-conditioned at the Commercial Rooms (JDW), Bristol 29/10/2021. Hazy golden beer, with a medium-sized, white, head. Floral hops, big citrus and juicy peach character, with some light malts and a dryish finish. Fine.

Cask at the Tanners Arms, Darlington. Pours light hazy amber with a thin white head. Aromas of acetic acid and lemon. Taste is sour. Sour finish. I blame the venue to be honest, so will re-rate if I see again.

Cask at Butlers Bell, Stafford. Pours a hazy golden amber with a small white head and good lacing. Floral hops and grapefruit mainly in the aroma. There’s a slightly smoky quality in the mouth. Main flavours are marmalade and grains with underlying malt and caramel. Some floral hops and a hint of honey as well. Finish is flowery and hoppy. Decent enough but unexciting.
